Turning Point
The Attack of Pearl Harbor is a turning point in our history because it was the point when the United States decided they wanted to enter the war. At first, President Roosevelt said he wanted no part of the war, and didn't want to be involved. But, after this attack, he decided it was time they do enter the war. And by the U.S entering the war, the ally's were able to have the power of the US industry, and were able to have mass produced weapons and tanks which were needed to win the war. Without the United States in the war, the axis powers might have had a chance to win the whole war, which is why the US joining the war was important, and a turning point.
